Pattern Spotlight: Acatalepsy by Heather Zoppetti
Need a quick gift? Acatalepsy is a fun fast knit that you could easily squeeze in before the holidays. It’s just 200 yards of super soft merino & yak, so even if you don’t finish, at least your hands will be happy, right?

Details
Worked side-to-side in Anzula’s new Katara yarn, this wavy stitch looks complicated, but is easy to memorize and beautiful once blocked. The yarn really makes it. This blend of merino and yak is luxurious. The yak lends a soft hand and a beautiful halo, and the merino is glowing in Anzula’s always exquisite colorways. I chose Rust for this pattern, but I think the color reads more like milk chocolate. The yak tends to tone down the color just a bit, but in a rich velvety way, if that makes sense.
Customizable
The pattern as written uses two skeins of Katara. With just 100g, Acatalepsy measures 8.25" wide and 26.25" long when blocked. I’ve added some notes on how to make a longer or wider piece if you wish – but know that you’ll need more yarn, of course. More of Katara, yes please!
Buttons
I’ve also added fun custom buttons from Stitch Sprouts. These will be available soon, ask your LYS to carry them.
