New Patterns from Faina Goberstein
Stores have packed their shelves with pencils, notebooks, and lunch boxes available for just change, which means that school is almost back in session, and, more importantly, fall is almost here! As soon as I put my sweaters away in the spring I'm looking forward to unpacking them when the cool breezes of fall return. A drop in temperature makes it more comfortable to knit sweaters, too, and Faina Goberstein released two great patterns this summer that would be perfect for your fall knitting list.
East Bay is a wonderfully textured pullover sweater knit from Cricket. The cables and elongated checks keep it interesting for an experienced knitter while making the pattern accessible for a knitter who hasn't made a cabled project yet.
Available in 10 sizes, this gorgeous sweater would make a great holiday gift for someone who appreciates classic style!
The Eilat sweater is also knit from Cricket. A beautiful open-front garment, the sweater features short sleeves and a fun geometric texture.
Faina used a switch in the stitch pattern on the waist to create natural shaping. The sweater may be worn open or closed with a separate fastener.
