TNNA Wrap-up

First, let me introduce myself, I'm Jess Awesome (aka jessimuhka on Ravelry) and I'll be doing some blogging here at the Anzula blog.  If you've been by the Anzula booth at TNNA or Stitches West, you've probably met me.  I joined Sabrina on the cross country drive to TNNA the beginning of this month, and here's how it went. We left Fresno the afternoon of June 5th and took the I-70 across the country.  Along the way we picked up new yarn shops in Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri!  You can see all our new shops on the where to buy page. In Kansas City, we met The Sexy Knitter and she took us out for an awesome BBQ dinner.

After Kansas City, we stopped in St. Louis and visited Kirkwood Knittery. Their shop is very cute! Brooke is working with our Breeze yarn, and it looks great.

We also picked up a new shop in St. Charles (near St. Louis) and managed to get some pictures of the owner of Knit & Caboodle picking out colors.

All the shops we stopped in were lovely, but unfortunately we didn't get pictures of most of them. Once we got to Ohio, it was time to set up for the show. We had small sample skeins of each line so that shop owners could choose from all the available colors. Here's a picture of the mini-skeins of Sebastian getting ready to go to the show.

The show was tons of fun. We met loads of great people, and had fun mingling at the Ravelry Ice Cream Social. Now we know why people were going on and on about Jeni's Ice Cream, it's delicious. I might have had ice cream for dinner a couple of the nights we were there. Set up and tear down went smoothly, thanks to some lovely helpers. Much thanks to Chris, Jenny, and Mary Catherine! On the drive back we took the I-40 route and picked up one more shop in Missouri.

All together, including shops picked up on the way out and back, Anzula yarn and fiber will be available in 18 new shops! The new shops will start receiving their orders at the end of summer. Remember, now that Anzula is wholesale only, any shop that carries our products can make a special order for you. Let your favorite local shop know what you'd like, and they can place the order with us. We'll get it to your shop as quickly as possible.
