May Trunk Shows at Swatches and Knitique

A trunk show is a great opportunity to see some of the Anzula yarns that a LYS doesn't usually carry. Two of our shops are hosting trunk shows right now.

Knitique in Elk Grove, California is the temporary home of our stock of For Better or Worsted, Dreamy, Haiku, and Cloud. They are open every day except Monday.

Swatches Yarn Studio in Fresno, California is hosting Milky Way, Wash My Lace, Sebastian, Cricket, and Mermaid. They also have the patterns for the Rockpool Shawl knit from Milky Way and the Fantome Cowl and Hat knit from Sebastian.

Keep an eye here on the blog, on Facebook, and on the Ravelry group. We will be announcing dates soon for summer trunk shows as the Anzula ladies travel east towards the TNNA tradeshow!

Leonarda Shawl by Laura Chau

The two skeins of Squishy you have stashed are now spoken for - Laura Chau has released a luscious new stole pattern. Called Leonarda, the pattern includes three sizes - two triangular scarf/shawls, and a rectangular stole/infinity scarf. The stole shown here was knit in Squishy in Charcoal.

Depending on your color choice, this could be alternately fun or elegant, perfect for staying warm after sundown at an outdoor wedding or picnic.

The body of the shawl is knit in an elongated garter stitch pattern, and the detailing along the edge in a unique drop stitch twist pattern. The short sides of the stole can be sewn together to make an infinity scarf.
