Limited Edition: River Rock & Sandia

Squishy in River Rock

Squishy in River Rock

River Rock was inspired by Charlie's favorite way to spend a summer day; Sitting on a good rock with her feet dangling in cool mountain water, watching the river flow, drinking iced tea, and chatting with friends.

What’s your favorite way to spend a summer day?

For knitters, we recommend Lakes to Sound by Destiny Itano. You can make the small size with 1 skein, or the large with 2 skeins, in most of our fingering weight yarns. For crochet we recommend Keyed Up Shawl by Thamo Hurly.

You'll find the Lakes to Sound pattern on Ravlery here, and the Keyed Up Shawl here. If you need assistance accessing patterns, please let us know and we will help you.

We're changing up the schedule for our limited edition colorways. We will now be releasing 2 colorways per month at the same time. We think this will make it a lot easier for you to choose your favorites and keep up with pre-order deadlines.

So let’s get acquainted with our next colorway: Sandia!

Dottie in Sandia

Dottie in Sandia

Sandia is the Spanish word for watermelon and this colorway is 100% inspired by the beloved summer fruit. This colorway really comes to life on our Dottie base because it's spun with black neps that perfectly imitate watermelon seeds! It's bright, fun, and works up beautifully. Keep reading to see progress pics!

(This colorway will only have black speckles when dyed on our Dottie base.)

25% of retail sales and 10% of wholesale sales for both colorways will be donated to the Fresno EOC to support their healthy meals for kids program. With all of your support we've donated over $1000 to charities this year just from limited edition yarns and colorways!

Pre-orders for both colorways will be open through July 31, 2020. You can order River Rock here and Sandia here.

Becca is knitting Mizu Shawlette by Francoise Danoy. You will need just one skein of Dottie in Sandia for this pattern.

You'll find the Mizu Shawlette pattern on Ravlery here. We recommend Keyed Up Shawl by Thamo Hurly for this colorway also. It’s a beautiful pattern for variegated yarns. Just in case you missed it above, you can find the pattern on Ravelry here.
